High-Density Foam

High density foam is an extruded polystyrene product commonly used in construction for insulation purposes. It also works very well for concrete debossing.

The rigidity of the foam allows for clean, crisp, cutting of letters and logos. The density of the foam makes it ideal for removal after a concrete sign has been poured and has cured. The foam is soft enough in density to be easily broken up and removed without damage to the graphics on the concrete sign face.

This type of foam is not recommended for dimensional lettering unless a thickness of 2” or more is required and a laminate is used on the face.
